Challenge

Despite the fact that most parents agree that not providing alcohol to children under 18 is important, many find it difficult to have open conversations with their teenagers about alcohol. Teens often push boundaries, making it harder for parents to maintain authority on the issue. The challenge was to create a campaign that both resonated with parents and gave them the confidence and knowledge to address this sensitive topic.

Goal

The goal of the NIX18 campaign was to reinforce the message that not providing alcohol to children under 18 is crucial for their safety and well-being. By engaging with parents and offering them support, the campaign aimed to foster a shift in attitudes towards alcohol and increase parental involvement in their children's decisions regarding drinking.

To tackle this challenge, we created an informative, supportive campaign designed to guide parents through the conversation about alcohol with their teens. The NIX18 website became a central resource, providing practical advice, personal stories from other parents, and tips on how to approach this topic in an understanding and effective way.
